Meal plan refunds
Due to the change in instructional delivery after Thanksgiving, Dining Services recognizes that some students may not return to campus for the last few weeks of the semester.
Resident student 100 Block and 160 Block meal plan holders
Meal plan holders with the 100 Block Plan and 160 Block Plan will receive a refund up to 22.2%* if they choose not to return to their on-campus housing after Thanksgiving. Amended Block Plan holders will receive a refund up to 28.8%.* Refund amounts will not exceed the value of unused meal swipes.

*Based on the meal swipe portion of the plan and compared to the value of unused meal swipes. Declining Balance (DB) funds will rollover through the summer semester 2021.
In order to receive the maximum allowable refund, your meal swipe usage can not exceed the number listed in the Max Swipe Use column. Any meal swipe usage beyond the listed number will result in a decrease in your refund. Each swipe will be valued at the price per meal and deducted accordingly from your total refund.

Meal plan changes and cancellations
Students canceling their housing contract
If a student cancels their housing contract, they may cancel their meal plan at that time through the housing cancellation process. Visit the Housing and Residence Life website for more information about housing adjustment options.
Resident upperclass students and commuters
Upperclass students and commuters may make changes to or cancel their meal plan until Oct. 9, 2020, at noon. Students must fill out the Fall 2020 Meal Plan Selection Form. Students who cancel their meal plans by Friday, Sept. 25 at 11:59 p.m. will not be charged an administrative fee.
